Privacy
This page explains how messages sent to @armanmarkar on Instagram are handled. The account and its inbox assistant are run by Arman Markar through Maknoon LLC ("we").
What we collect
- Your Instagram username, display name and the ID Instagram gives us for you.
- The messages you send to @armanmarkar, and comments that contain a keyword we reply to (for example "CLARITY").
- If you ask for a call: the times you prefer, where you're based (only so we show the right time), and the email you give for the calendar invite.
We don't collect your password, contacts, location data or anything outside these conversations.
Why
- To reply to you, send the free resources you asked for, and set up a call if you want one.
- To make sure Arman personally sees anything sensitive or important.
- To understand, in total, which resources are useful.
We never sell your data, use it for ads, or share your messages publicly or in content.
The assistant
An automated assistant helps Arman keep up with messages, and we tell you when it's replying. It drafts replies with an AI model running on Cloudflare Workers AI (or Google's Gemini API if we switch providers). Your message is sent to that model only to write a reply. Sensitive messages get no automated reply: they go to Arman. Arman reads the inbox and takes every call himself.
Where it's stored
- Conversations are stored in a private database on Cloudflare.
- A short log (username, which resource was sent, call requests) is kept in a private Google Sheet.
- Only Arman has access.
We keep conversation data for up to 12 months after your last message, then delete it. Raw technical logs are cleared after 30 days.
Deleting your data
Send "delete my data" as a DM to @armanmarkar on Instagram, or email arman.a.markar@gmail.com with your Instagram username. We'll delete everything we store about you within 30 days and confirm when it's done. You can also stop at any time: just stop messaging, or say "stop".
Instagram and Meta
Messages travel through Instagram, which is run by Meta. Meta's own privacy policy covers how it handles them. We use only Meta's official messaging API and follow its rules, including replying only within its messaging windows.
